The Society of Noble Ancestry and Feudal History - Preserving History and Genealogy
Society of Noble Ancestry and Feudalism (A Noble Ancestry Society and Research Group)
The Society of Noble Ancestry, European Nobility, and Feudalism (feudal Titles) is a research and historical group dedicated to the preservation of feudal titles (legally verified lord of the manor) and ancestors of nobility (with generation by generation documentation) as well as the genealogical aspects of individuals and families descended from noble families. The society has a verified registry of those holding feudal titles as well
In addition we provide a registry of registered and self-assumed arms for the sake of preservation of heraldic arts. Registration of Arms in the society must follow the prescribed ancient methods of design and not violate known recorded arms.
Our work involves validating family trees to authenticate a persons relation to a noble bloodline. The society of noble descendants allows for membership of current nobility, non-title holding family members of noble descent and those holding feudal titles such as a lord of the manor or a feudal baron. The membership criteria must be proven beyond doubt using acceptable proof. The criteria of "beyond doubt" means proof generation-by-generation to an accuracy of 98% or greater. This would include census data, birth records, court records, deeds, conveyances and documentations from an approved heraldic society.
In addition the society provides research and validation services for those holding legitimate feudal titles (such as lord of the manor and feudal baron). We are a group of dedicated individuals, scholars, historians and genealogists here to provide research assistance.
Our methods of verification are rigorous and involves detailed searches, official public records and following applicable legal methods. Our goal is simply to aid people who have a title or believe they are descended from a noble family to offer an additional level of validation.
